Backing Hi Vis Yellow - Cortland's Guide Series fly-fishing outfit is fitted with a weight forward floating fly line, allowing for easy casting and precise presentations.  The short aggressive taper design helps anglers cast and deliver flies with minimal effort.  Manufactured using a high floating durable finish that will withstand a variety of fishing conditions.  The fly line features a front welded loop for easy connection sand a nylon tapered leader with a perfection loop.

Fly Rod- Lightweight Graphite Fast Action 8' 4WT 4-Piece Travel Rod - Cortland's Guide Series fly rod features a fast action and a lightweight graphite material for exceptional strength and durability.  The rod's action has a powerful butt section for increased casting distance and a softened tip for ultimate tippet protection and sensitivity.  Each rod has a gloss black finish, hard chrome snake guides, anodized aluminum reel seat and cork grip.

Fly Reel- Mid Arbor Composite Design - Center Disk Drag - Cortland's Guide Series fly reels are lightweight featuring a center disc drag and built from a composite matrix material for strength and durability.  The oversized easy grip drag knob has a wide range of adjustment for stopping power and tippet protection.  A mid arbor spool design allow for quick line pick-up while the left/right retrieve adjustments can be made through an easy access release button.

Rod & Reel Carrier - Durable Cordura Cover - Carrying Handle - Cortland's Guide Series fly-fishing outfit includes a protective rod and reel carrier.  A durable tube with a Cordura cover and carrying handle keeps the rod secure while the reel pouch allows you to keep your reel attached to the rod for quick assembly.
